wonder lust

Crazy night
Lost one
Longing for another
Can't read the signs
So alone
Even though I share my bed
The stars are reflected in my eyes
The wet air whispers rain
But my cheeks are dry
I try
But I don't know in which direction
I could be happy
But instead I'm here
Whispering the scream inside my head
Wondering
Why I have so many options to find the answer outside myself
I don't know myself
So none of this is true
But it could be
And I don't want to stay
Just because it filled the void before
