transcending triumph
fires and fumes
alliteration dividing in two
what at one moment was whole, untorn, and brilliant
now is fallen, lost and tired
thin walls confine, close in and choke
the eyes of one whose blonde hair grows roots
time travels the terror which trancends triumph
and watches the stare of abuse and wanting
longing to be there, herself and aflight
needing to uncover her darkened pupils
opening wide with forward thought
colors dance and twirl a mixture
wonderment and amazed
seeing through of her transparent wrap
searching the eyes of a friend for reality
grasping for words to explain further
and gripping the carpet with fear
boundaries broken, now shes open
