Not quite right
There's only so much cigarette
Before your mind implodes
So much time for sinking in
Unwinding, core exposed and raw
The nerve unfolded
Jellyfish
So strong
And weak on land
Gasping for air that never comes
My oxygen is burnt
Crisp as apple soaked fall wind
And empty
No life
No dreams
No time
Cigarette is dying
And I'm a burning ember
Into the night
Fucked
And not
Where does tomorrow live?
Because right now it only weeps
My pillow is a rock tonight
I'm a child that never sleeps
My mind explodes
Explodes
Explodes
Explodes
And the cigarette is dying
So must I
Dream and never wake
Mistakes
I haven't made
But may
They choke me
How lonely
