Waiting

The more things change
The more things stay the same
It's a clich� because it's true

Explaining

Because the lies
They weave webs
Gnarled and tangled threads
Of doom and gloom
Bloomed from a seed of disrespect

Self doubt
Selfish life
Selfish air I breathe
I seethe it
Believe it

Want it to consume me
To doom me
To make me take another path
Another hand
Another death

But really
And gently

The more things change
The more they stay the same
