glass heart

Shuffle in the darkness
White feet
Cold and bloody
Glass covers the ground
Pain all around
Body floating above
Dark black stuck deep shards
Deeper with each step
Forward forward
Head dipped
So sad
Pain cutting nothing
Muffled crunches
Grinding harder into the broken tears
Just to feel anything
Hitting each step hard
Begging for the throb
To touch my heart
